Happy 2011 !

Four wings ballet

Blow of northeast in Manche sea as we say here. The wind put up the sea, and its whistling lets no place to those who would'nt know how to fly over it. Only some white arrows streak the sky, Northern gannets(Morus bassanus) found their kingdom...

Photo exhibition and slide show to Namur photo festival 2010: light on Goldeneye

Photo competition: double selection to Montier-en-Der photo competition

Quite a while ago that results of the afpan photo competition fell, and I have the pleasure to be selected there double with a photo in category birds, and a mini-serial.
You can thus find these photos in the exhibition of the contest at the festival, and discover them a little earlier if you know how to look
But it will be necessary to wait for the prize-giving during the festival for connaitre the outdone(subsidized).

The ball of the flying mice

The night slowly comes to rock the Norman countryside. The heat of the day makes the rare still accessible water sources very attractive for the bats which find there of what to quench their thirst besides a plentiful food, as this common pipistrelle (Pipistrellus pipistrellus) hunting a mosquito.

PaySage exhibition: Continuation on the north coast, at the city of Baie-Comeau

The exhibition inaugurated last summer in Quebec will spend the next one to the city of Baie-Comeau on the north coast of the Saint Lawrence river. You can discover or see it again from June 12th till August 29th at Alice Lane library.

This one will cross then the Atlantic Ocean for its coming in France.

Light is back in Finland!

Undoubtedly, the springs have some time of the season only the name. After several days of heat wave in Finland (almost 30°C!), it is an autumn time(weather) which took over with rain and light goes away.
Then today, return of more normal conditions, with classic temperatures for the end of May. But mosquitoes, them, took advantage of the blow of heat and are already there...
